A simple and elegant platter ideal for serving or styling.

This range was created with an appreciation for the beautiful simplicity that can be achieved with clay and the hands that moulds it.

The rim is pinched into shape, gradually expanding and waving in its own special way. With impressions of my fingerprints in each indent, this piece was designed to embrace the story of where it came from; a permanent celebration of the hands that made it.

For years I worked really hard to make details like this go away…trimming edges and straightening rims to get the surfaces as smooth and symmetrical and ‘perfect’ as possible. But while I was making these pieces I was enamoured by their beautiful organic shape and wanted to let that shine in their own perfect way.

Finished with a satin white glaze with the rim left raw to really highlight the simplicity of the form. Each fingerprinted indent has a simple pink spot on both the inside and outside to bring a dash of P&F colour.
